Important stuff done Mr Salmond got the big X for Gordon, Greggs supplied a fine bacon roll and some supplies for the train and were off, passing through portlethen on route to Oban via Glasgow.

Glorious day in Aberdeenshire, but a bit bloomin nippy in at 0600, glad I wasn't in a tent...

Nearly time for another wee wander, not nearly done the same amount of build up training this year, although I did manage a couple of weeks working walking and drinking around Capel Curig last week, bloody expensive down there like.

Then head off to Oban, unfortunately via bloody Glasgow,  hopefully this weather warms up a bit too...
